Tribble & Stephens was founded with a vision that a general building Contractor could operate successfully by negotiating construction services to the private construction industry. The vision incorporated a delivery system for construction that would be cooperative as opposed to the adversarial situations created by traditional lump-sum bidding. Representatives of the Owner, Architect, and Contractor would compose a construction "team" who would work together to produce an optimal project considering the priorities of schedule, budget, and quality.
